The Lord has power over all things

The Lord gives us opportunities to believe in Him and recognize His power in our liveS

The Lord has power over all things

Exodus 7:2-5

Exodus 11:4-9

Our Father in Heaven reaches out for each of us with His infinite love. He has power over all things and desires to help us learn, grow, and return to Him...As we develop greater faith and trust in the Lord, we can access His power to bless and deliver us…There are many accounts in the scriptures of those who have put their trust in the Lord and who have been helped and delivered by Him...Each faced real and difficult challenges. Each acted in faith and put his trust in the Lord. Each received His help. And still in our day, God’s power and love are manifest in the lives of His children.

I Can Do All Things

I can choose to soften my heart

The Lord gives us opportunities to believe in Him and recognize His power in our liveS

The Lord has power over all things

Exodus 7:14-16

Exodus 12:29-33

When we harden our hearts, we are blinded, and good things cannot come into our hearts or our minds. We become stubborn and begin to place more focus on worldly desires, closing our hearts to the things of God…When we put our trust in the Lord and rely on Him, He will soften our hearts, and we will be supported in our trials, troubles, and afflictions…we’ve been given moral agency. We can choose to harden our hearts, or we can choose to soften our hearts. In our daily lives, we can choose to do the things that invite the Lord’s Spirit to come into and dwell in our hearts.

Exodus 9:13-16

I believe in a God of miracles…Think of the miracles of the Old Testament. Remember Moses and the parting of the Red Sea. For all future generations of Israelites, the great miracles that led to their deliverance from Egypt provided undeniable proof of God’s existence and His love for them. Many Book of Mormon prophets, including Nephi, pointed to the story of Moses to encourage faith and belief in a God who could deliver His people in their distress. Other Book of Mormon prophets reminded the people that they themselves had witnessed miracles that should convince them of God’s power.

Exodus 12:1-10

[W]hatever happens in life, Jesus Christ has the power to save. Through His divine sacrifice, He has provided the way for us to gain eternal life. Truly, His work is “to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.”… We know Satan will tempt and try us as we seek to do these things, but the Lord has promised that He will strengthen us. He will help us…Though Satan may oppose our efforts, I testify of Jesus Christ and the power of His atoning sacrifice, enabling us to do His will and magnifying our efforts in the process.

Exodus 12:14-17, 25-27

Moses told the Israelites to “take…a lamb…without blemish, a male of the first year”... They were to prepare the lamb as a feast and “take of the blood, and strike it on the…door post of the houses." …Surely…you see the prophetic symbolism in the Passover. Christ was “the Lamb of God”, the firstborn, male, without blemish....The law of sacrifice was fulfilled with the Crucifixion. The Lord instituted the sacrament in its place. That is the ordinance we shall keep forever…attend your meetings and partake of the sacrament.

Exodus 13:3-9

Throughout time, even and especially during difficult times, prophets have encouraged us to remember the greatness of God and to consider what He has done for us as individuals, as families, and as a people…By considering Their kindness, our perspective and understanding are enlarged...I do not think that God is insulted when we forget Him. Rather, I think He is deeply disappointed. He knows that we have deprived ourselves of the opportunity to draw closer to Him by remembering Him and His goodness...I invite you to remember each day the greatness of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and what They have done for you.
