"That Which Is of God Is Light"
In order to embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ, people must first embrace Him whose gospel it is. They must trust the Savior and what He has taught us. They must believe that He has the power to keep His promises to us by virtue of the Atonement. When people have faith in Jesus Christ, they accept and apply His Atonement and His teachings…Our faith also leads to action—it leads to the commitments and changes associated with true repentance.
- L. Tom Perry, The Gospel of Jesus Christ
The restored gospel of Jesus Christ proclaims the principle of full partnership between woman and man, both in mortal life and in the eternities. Although each possesses specific attributes and divinely appointed responsibilities, woman and man fill equally relevant and essential roles in God’s plan of happiness for His children...Eve was a heavenly blessing in Adam’s life. Through her divine nature and spiritual attributes, she inspired Adam to work in partnership with her to achieve God’s plan of happiness for all mankind.

Enduring Love - Showing Love & Giving Service To Build Strong Marriages
How can we teach more like the Savior and help others become more deeply converted?…First and foremost, take it upon yourself to learn all you can about the Master Teacher Himself. How did He show love for others? What did they feel when He taught? What did He teach? What were His expectations of those He taught? After you explore questions like these, evaluate and adjust your way of teaching to be more like His…the responsibility rests squarely upon each of us to follow the example of the Master and teach like Him. His way is the true way!

The Importance of Having the Spirit
Even in the most difficult and darkest of times, there is light and goodness all around us… However, the adversary would rather have us focus on “mists of darkness … which blindeth the eyes, …hardeneth…hearts…, and…leadeth…away.”…the Church will always have its critics. It has been that way from the beginning and will continue to the end. But we cannot allow such criticism to dull our sensitivity to the light that is available to us. Recognizing the light and seeking after it will qualify us for even more light. In a darkening world, the light of the Church will shine brighter and brighter until the perfect day.
- Mark A. Bragg, Brighter and Brighter until the Perfect Day
Patterns of Light: The Light of Christ
One of the sneaky ploys of the adversary is to have us believe that unquestioning obedience to the principles and commandments of God is blind obedience...He teaches that it is not intelligent to do something just because we are told to do so by a living prophet or by prophets who speak to us from the scriptures...Our Heavenly Father communicates in a very clear way to His children. In the teachings of the gospel, there is no uncertain sound of which the Apostle Paul speaks. There is no question regarding the meaning of what is being said or of feelings prompted by the Spirit.

Don’t Be Tricked - The Spoken Word
Deceive Me Not by Elder Stevenson
Is it possible that Jesus’s purpose, first and foremost, was to teach about the work of the Good Shepherd?...Is it possible that the Savior’s message was that God is fully aware of those who are lost—and that He will find them, that He will reach out to them, and that He will rescue them?...The sheep is worthy of divine rescue simply because it is loved by the Good Shepherd. To me, the parable of the lost sheep is one of the most hopeful passages in all of scripture. Our Savior, the Good Shepherd, knows and loves us. He knows and loves you… He will rescue you. He will lift you up and place you on His shoulders. He will carry you home.
